Blaster

The first thing life gave you was not a cry but a devouring mark branded into your flesh. The second was a verdict: You are not holy. You are not ordinary. You are not safe. Every stranger has their own name for what you bear: a plague, an omen, an invitation. 

Blaster is an Afro-fantasy romance visual novel, developed by Moonveil Studio (a very small indie studio run by a solo writer), in which you enter a world inspired by West African and ancient Mesopotamian cultures and try to survive gods, clerical groups, demons, and love itself.

Blaster is intended for mature audiences. The game contains mature themes that can be unsuitable for younger and sensitive audiences. Including depiction of death, violence and blood, mention of abuse, mild horror, colonial and anti-colonial themes, religious violence and critique of religion, alcohol use, spirituality (Vodun), sexual content (vanilla).

Your hometown Aghard fell, swallowing her secrets. You lost everything except this sigil. With each breath, it steals your life and fragments of your soul. Though monsters and demons flee from your mark, it slowly devours you from within. Will you uncover the truth behind your birth before the curse claims what remains? Or will you die at the hands of those who covet your unfortunate fate?
